• The GastroLab Series (Slate)
This video spin-off series from The Sporkful podcast features my co-host Mark Garrison and me doing absurd and, in some cases, likely unethical experiments with food, all in the pursuit of finding new and better ways to eat.
• Raw Milk: Panacea or Poison? (NPR)
A look at the controversy surrounding the sale and consumption of unpasteurized milk. With cartoons!
Game days at the Kettle of Fish, a Greenwich Village bar that caters to Wisconsin expats, aren't just about football, beer and cheese. They're also about finding a small piece of home in the big city.
Doing this piece didn’t just result in a good story, it also scored me a great pastrami sandwich and a collaboration with NPR correspondent and Radiolab host Robert Krulwich.
• Langhorne Slim Rocks Bryant Park (NPR)
I produced this video piece of an impromptu concert in Bryant Park featuring one of my favorite musicians, Langhorne Slim.
• Jack Rice Visits the Gitmo Gift Shop (Air America)
The gift shop at the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay is at once hilarious, bizarre, and completely normal. This video focuses on the more hilarious side. My photography from the base and gift shop is much more ambivalent.
